- I'm not 100% sure what this "Glassbox" is. It sounds like the movement and dial are contained in a, well glass box, that is then inserted into the frame of the case

Read through this whole thread and found it a fascinating glimpse back to the launch of the first Glassbox (Telemeter), which was the first plot point in a chart that continues to mature and evolve to this day with the modern Carrera.

Thanks, it was interesting to revisit this. I still like the look of the telemeter, in some ways I think it was the best glassbox.
