Buying the same glassbox watch and expecting a different result.... you keep banging on about the glassbox but you also keep buying the watches..... just saying!
And we are seeing encouraging signs. Much progress has been made since the Telemeter and TAG Heuer has made great strides in the right direction. These latest Anniversary editions are their best effort yet, on the current 39mm case.
In then end, the positives far outweigh the negatives, which is why they are on my list. Despite the glassbox and the other shortcomings.

·Maybe its been discussed already but I just realized that the column wheel is black on these new H02 models. I liked it better in red as on the Autavia. Seems to be black on the new H02 Carreras as well so I guess thats a permanent change for the movement production

Yeah, problem is the stores only have one lighting condition usually. Oftentimes, it's pretty harsh and watches look worse than they do outside. You have to wear a watch a couple times, in many settings, to get the idea for crystal reflection etc.

The only gripe I can think of is the thickness of the case but it is understandable since it houses one of the best chronograph movements in the market! Everything else is superb in my book 🥰📖
And BTW, up to now, I still do get alot of nice compliments from my Carrera Calibre 18 Telemeter! (Also 39mm but slimmer) Glassbox is a non issue for me 😉 Clean design superb dial, both great qualities of the Heuer Carrera. So the Carrera Silver 160 and Carrera Telemeter are my must haves 😁

·As it happens going to have to delay pickup another week! I left on travels the fay it arrived at AD. Have decided to delay return another week so I’ll have to wait. I’m sure it will be worth it 👍

·It's not too bad, though I think the links are a bit too chunky for the watch head design. I do think it'd work pretty well on a bracelet though!
