Even covered in clear wrap, this watch looks very pretty. Pic credit to @hawksmercedes0417 on IG.

Just saw this. Credits to the owner. I think this is from a TAG Heuer Boutique in Japan. 👍

Not my style obviously, but the photographs look so much better than the renders.

Is that on a blue strap? Or do my eyes deceive me?
I agree it looks blue but I think it's because of the blue suit he's wearing.

Looks like there's also a slight blue tint to the filter maybe.

The strap is def black

That is probably also influencing the picture. My conclusion was furthermore based on the premise one probably wouldn't switch out the original black gator for a blue already.

Very first thing I did was remove the strap (it's still in its plastic wrap even) and put on a brown vintage-style strap 😁

i think I might. Preserve the original and it does look good in that photo, whatever the cause of the hue! And makes a change from black leather.

and imagine if they’d put blued hands on the watch too!

I knew that but that was probably an easier step to take then the slight difference between black to dark blue.👍

I took of the bracelet of the A11 50SS (having in mind the stop of production of i.e. 1039's) for the 160 I don't think it will be hard in the future to get that black strap.

This would look good to IMHO with patina instead of blue stitching.

Just got a call from the TH boutique. They have a 160th Carrera for me if I want it. Not ruling picking one up in future, but going to pass for now.

Are you anywhere near Spitalfields in London? If so, you can probably get it.
