How's the rotor noise on the Heuer 02, Jim?
Yes I have to say that I agree with the Junkie on this topic, the loud rotor does not suit this watch that well. Sometimes I barely move and it spins like crazy and very loud. Not the most luxurious or sophisticated feel to it. I am very surprised that watch "journalists" dont talk more about this very negative aspect. It is not a deal breaker, I will get used to it but a more sophisticated movement would've been nice at this price point.

Earlier I thought the H01 was loud but comparing them side by side I can say that H01 is my absolute favorite. H01 is less noisy, has a more premium feeling to manually wind, nicer feeling to the pushers when interacting with the chronograph and I do believe that the chrono seconds hand stutters less. The H02 does not stutter a lot (not like the horrific B01 from Breitling) but looks a bit worse and more "un smooth" than the H01, I will do some slow motion video to compare in detail.

Same here, I think it's kinda funny though really.

My carrera winds often and long, I can feel the weight movement on my wrist if I’m not moving or if it’s placed on a hard surface it’s loud, but at least I know it is working, my other watches I don’t notice winding.

Which model/movement?

It’s a cv2010 chrono Calibre 16 circa 2005.

That's a 7750 which is known for that behavior. Run a Google search for '7750 wobble' and you'll find tons!

As long as it keeps good time it’s never really bothered me, I just grew accustomed to it.

Agree, doesn't even seem to occur while wearing as much as it does sometimes when I pick it up to hand-wind or whatever.

Voted Watch Of The Year 2020 by the honorable Council Of Considered Opinion (COCO) and now finally on my wrist in time to celebrate New Year's! It has been an emotional rollercoaster and buying this watch has given me gray hair. It has now been 6 or 7 weeks, one stolen watch, a bomb in the post central, grey market dealers telling lies, lousy customer service, shipping insurance expiring and many other crazy happenings since I decided to buy this one. More on this crazy story will eventually come on the best blog in the world http://tagheuerenthusiast.blogspot.com/

A big thanks to my friend Robert @Aquagraph for buying this one and shipping it safely from UK to Sweden. This is the second watch you help me buy and my collection would not be what it is without you!

Big thanks also to all of you on this wonderful forum. Despite a lot of shit in the world I feel that this forum has been better than ever and my love for TAG Heuer and Heuer just keeps on growing.

About the cbk221b I can't tell you enough about how gorgeous and perfect it is. I think this might be not only watch of the year but watch of the decade. I had not seen it in person before and boy oh boy the photos don't do it justice at all. It is the most stunning thing I have ever seen. The dial, the size, the polishing, the proportions 🥰

I will get around to writing a full review in maybe 6 months, until then you can count on some photos of this silver dial 😎

Congratulations! It is a really great watch in so many ways.

Otto, which TAG Heuer branded watches are you comparing with when you say the telemeter and wv5111 are better finished?

Clearly, i think it's just me then 👍😉

i compared it between my telemeter and Heuer calibre6 to my Tag Heuer calibre 6 guiloche dial and H01 as well ( not a direct comparison but yeah that's what i ever owned)

It's like the deep roar of a V8 engine compared to the delicate music of a V6 😉
