Easy rider servicing

Hi, I normally post on the Omega forum, but it would seem to make more sense to ask this here. I recently bought an Easy rider and it's running pretty erratically. I know these were low cost originally and supposedly went ment to be seviced, but I was wondering if any one knows who can service these know,preferably in the UK.

Hi Gaz,

Yes, you're right: the original intention with these was to replace the pin-pallet movement rather than repair. Have you read this article:

Unfortunately no luck with Nic. On the other hand since resurrecting it (it had sat in a draw for years) it seems to be running well. Power reserve of about 36 hours and loosing about a minute a day. Once I poly watch the scratches out I think it will look great.

Nice one! Given how hard they are to repair, you might find that it's worthwhile just wearing it the way it is. It's definitely a cool looking watch!

My local watch guy (Heuer Nut, Certified Rolex Specialist) must be a genius, he's fixing my Easy Rider as we speak! No problems as of yet!

I can give you his contact info, if you like.
Sadly, he's here in the US, so you'd have to ship it to him.

He's not really "known" for his work on Heuers, but he always has multiple that he's working on.

He's absolutely brilliant. He will spend an entire night looking up the "do's and don'ts" of every watch he services, even if he has worked on them a million times before. He is one of the most passionate watch guys I know. He hasn't done me wrong so far! 😀
