Suddenly there are 2 of them, one in France and the other in Spain. Potentially NOS, since they both have manufacturer warranty, which otherwise would not be possible. Eye watering price though for both.

I think those were dials of Bamford produced/modded watches, not the ones issued by TAG Heuer, like the carbon. But I could be wrong.
I tend to agree. I've never seen the Bamford Monaco in person. But since it was an official TH release, I would certainly expect it to be of the same quality finish as the standard C11 Monaco, if not better given its price.

Looks pretty good in this video.

Also in this close up pic.

£11,000 doesn't seem that bad really, it was about £8000 when it came out IIRC and if it had stayed in the catalogue it would have gone up to about that anyway. 😁

Some accurate Man Maths there, keep working on it and it’s possibly selling at a discount 😁

All that money and you still don't get round pushers
£8000 + four 10% increases = £11712.80
👍

It’s bargain ::psy::😁

Does anyone on here own one ?

@ELT does. https://tagheuerforums.com/threads/which-monaco-to-buy.100946/page-2#post-1317014

But I'm curious about @HeuerLondon88. From your avatar, I assume you own one as well? Or at least have held one?

some of the nicest photos of a Bamford Edition I’ve seen 😎 Does it feel a lot lighter on your wrist than a steel case Monaco?

Definitely felt lighter than my steel model, but not in a way that it didn’t feel as luxury. Personally I love it, one of the best modern Monacos.

A bit of a sidebar for us Monaco lovers - I got in a Heuer Monaco France Edition - (1 of 200) yesterday. It occurred to me that the Strapcode Rollball II in 22mm with straight end links might be a perfect bracelet for same, as it is so complementary for the Monaco; to wit: It's a combination of the "Square-Round" theme of the Monaco - Square watch, square sub-dials, (mostly) square date window - framed by/with the iconic circular time display within. The Rollball bracelet is a rally style with 3 graduated holes on each side, framed by "squarish" rectangular links:

Thoughts? A good idea, or am I just drinking my own bathwater?

This combination reminded me of Straton watches on the Rollball bracelet. I've seen these on Seiko Prospex mostly, but never liked it much. Personally I love the Monacos on a leather strap, and the native strap with the Monaco France edition is just beautiful. It's a different choice for sure, but till you're happy and comfortable with the way the watch feels and looks, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Yeah, I DO love the original strap - no question! I seem to be around water so much on a daily basis that I'm a little reluctant to wear any of my watches (all dive watches until the Monaco, for the record) on leather. I tried my Monaco on a rally rubber strap with deployant clasp - it was "just okay"...
