Hello all,

I own both Apple Watch and Tag Connected and glad to say i love my Tag more. Yes the function is limited when you pair with iOS but notification on my wrist is what matter most. I look forward for AW2.0 update but from the info i gather it still does'nt do enough justice for iPhone users. Just to manage my expectation.

From previous posts, i read that many of us would like to try customised watchfaces. Been there, tried that. Just my personal opinion, I don't fancy those customised/non-official watchfaces because i like to turn 'Always On' display for my Tag (major plus point against Apple Watch) and Ambient mode for those faces eat up my battery for around 10-15% compared using official Tag Connected faces. Probably because the extra lighting needed for the colored background. If only we can use those ambient mode in official Tag + customised watchface that would be perfect.

Tag Connected Modular will be launched somewhere in March 2017. I just wish for better battery life. Samsung S3 can stand 4 days without charging and i have no doubt Tag can do better. As for the display, yes the ppi's for Tag should be increased as other competitors are advancing well in that part. But honestly, current reso is ok to me. Yes it did hold me from my purchase before but i just went for it. To my surprise, the reso is somehow acceptable. This is from someone who owned Apple Watch and Moto 360 2nd Gen before switching to Tag Connected.

Sorry for the long post but i noticed that other forum discussing Tag Connected (such as G+ and WatchUSeek) are not frequently updated. Keep it going guys!

I don't mind charging the Apple Watch each night. Just take it off when asleep and ready again on the morning. PPI is the important issue for me. It has to look as close to a real face as possible. Android 2.0 fixes the iOS issues. Other than iMessage, it will receive all calls and messages and you can respond to them. Email is a drawback as I can only see that gmail works fluidly.

Not long to wait now.

Yes, exactly the way im using my Tag now. When i reach home daily (normally around 10pm) i normally got around 20-25% battery life with always on display. Charge it overnight and im good for my daily restart at 8am the next day. I wonder if anyone here tried AW2.0 developer preview on iOS. If yes, i'd love to know more. Kinda hope they finally enable wifi synching like the way Apple Watch shared its notification with iPhone and Android phone to Android Wear

Just tried watchmaker and it's a waste of space. For some reason facer will not download to it either.

The new connected got a software update tonight. It has installed the Heuer 01 skeleton face and more colours to the other faces including an awesome red and a rather bright orange.

FACER is probably not "targeted" (compatible) for AndroidWear 2.0. The authors will probably correct that soon.

How's the OLED display quality? I did notice the Heuer-01 watchface during the announcement. Hopefully they look realistic with minimal "glare" compared to the original's LCD.

The skeleton looks a bit blurry to me. Could be better definition. Here's a red example.

This is made on the studio built in. Choose from four faces, choose colour, metal work for the hands and markers and finally a colour highlight. So here some red to the markings and chrono hand.

Looking good! I really hope they keep the official watch faces coming. I would even pay for them on the Google Play Store. That's really the next step in the customization game.

As I read works better with android wear 2.0, with the old version connected is a bit more complicated, to see when the first connected is updated ....🙁

As noted on this week's announcement, the original Carrera Connected should receive the Android Wear 2.0 update by the end of the month.

would love some links to watch faces please!

I joined the party late and looking at all the faces on page 1 of this thread make me want to cry that I don't have them haha
