Instructions for WatchMaker CloudSync platform.

  1. You need WatchMaker on iOS - get it here
  2. You need to have minimum of WatchMaker 4.1.0 on watch - get from Google Play (if on Android) or get your free copy here
  3. Your watch must be WiFi enabled with a reliable connection established
  4. Long press on your watch (Android Wear) or double tap (Tizen) to get to the WatchMaker settings screen
  5. Enable CloudSync by clicking on the cloud icon (gray background)
  6. If you cant see the CloudSync icon yet, you might have to hit the settings cog under the watchface
  7. If you don't see a cloud like in the screenshot below you have an old version of WatchMaker on watch - please update
  8. This checks your WiFi connection is good and gives a unique 6-digit code
  9. The CloudSync remains connected for 100 seconds and can be re-established at any time using the process above
  10. If the cloud has a green background it indicates WatchMaker CloudSync is enabled
  11. From WatchMaker iOS app, any watch can be send by typing in the same 6-digit code.
  12. These 6-digit codes can be used for any future transfers and will be remembered by the phone and watch apps
  13. Remember CloudSync disconnects on your watch after 100 seconds - if you need to send new watches later on, please remember to repeat from step 4 above.

My money's on the 2447 panda, although not sure if it would 'pop' enough on a digital screen. I wonder how the Spectre Seamaster would look backlit, but might feel strange on a TAG...

i wish the watch screen had a deeper pixel density, some of the mechanical faces don't look very good.

I'm a sucker for the Regata.

The branded ones cheapen the watch though.

Yes, the Regata is one of the best. I use that face regularly. The orange dials represent battery life.

I agree with all of you that putting other brands is conflicting. However, trying them on allows you to see which ones you want to buy. In fact, I have a couple of Omega Speedmasters now on my list from "trying" them this way. And I must say the beauty of the Bell & Ross faces comes alive through the three dimensional effect, even on the LCD display.

I already have a support call in asking for details of how iPhone/IOS users will be able to access the new official TAG Heuer faces with interest. As soon as I get a 'not available' email my request for a refund will be sent - I don't mind losing out on functionality through the Android Wear app being limited through IOS, but I won't accept being limited on official TAG Heuer updates through my o/s of choice

There is no iOS TAG Heuer app, just the generic Android Wear for iOS which Google will update as/when. Customer Services said "For iOS users, we are working to get those available to you within days following the 20th of January"

Let's see what they deliver and how quickly.

Hopefully this will help the iOS users, already posted on the 'TH Connected thread Too' but maybe more useful here -

For those of you who maybe interested, I currently have it paired with a iPhone 6S Plus and was interested in how we can get the new ambassador watch faces so I raised a support ticket with TH here is there reply:

Thank you for you Email.
Currently 11 new ambassadors watchfaces are now available on the TAG Heuer Connected for Android users.
For iOS users, we are working to get those available to you after February 16.
