Love the watch face @rockstar0815 can you explain how to view the battery status?

Hi there, thanks!

The battery status is actually the second hand in ambient mode. 12 o'clock is 100 % (and also 0%), 3 o'clock is 25%, 6 is 50% and so on.

That explains it, new to this! Would you be able to tell me how to view ambient mode on my Connected 41as it goes to blank display after 4 seconds?

Not exactly sure on the 41, on the 46 it is in Settings > Display > "Display always on".

With this enabled, the watch should remain dimly lit and show the watchface after it normally would turn blank.

From your Dropbox on iPhone select watchface and there a option to create link. Then go into watchmaker and select import, link and paste the link

The first requirement is that your watch needs to be connected via wifi. If it is not, my experience is that it will not work. Some say switching off bluetooth forces the watch to connect via wifi, this might help. I also struggled with getting watch faces loaded onto the watch but i now got the hang of it and it works quite ok once you get the hang of it.

hmmm... maybe I can make this by modifying rockstar's watch face. I'll just need to photoshop up a transparent magnifying glass layer. Looks like a weekend project...

edit: Well, I've done this but I have mixed feelings. TMK, Tag Heuer doesn't make a watch with a crystal magnifier so this is not an authentic face and maybe shouldn't have TAG branding. On the other hand, I'll be running it on an authentic TAG watch so the branding is justified... At any rate, it solves my problem perfectly on an excellent watchface from rockstar with a great ambient display. So, until those bionic lens replacements become available...

For those of you who are interested, I also found a PC based watchmaker editor. It won't render correctly on a 4K Windows display however. Its a java app so it should run on any platform that supports java:

http://www.japplis.com/desktop-watchmaker/

edit: to get this to render correctly on a 4K windows PC, go into properties of javaw.exe file (which is used to run jar files). Generally it can be found in /program files/java/<your most current java jre directory>/bin. Then under the "compatibility" tab, check "override high DPI scaling behavior" and choose "scaling performed by system".
