Carrera CV2113/ CV2114 Jack Heuer LE

Had a question over the weekend about the early TAG Heuer-branded re-edition Carreras which was news to me.

After the pretty Lemania Heuer-branded re-editions, the next iterations were branded as TAG Heuer, using the Calibre 17 movement and with a larger 39mm case. I hadn't appreciated that there were two models with the "Daytona" rings- almost identical.

Carrera CV2113

Carrera CV2114- Limited Edition of 350

Essentially the same watch, but with a tachymeter scale and Jack Heuer's signature on the back

Good find! Those Daytona Ring Carreras have been under-appreciated for many years.

Maybe this stoplight will raise their profile, or at least the Jack Heuer edition to a more desirable level.

That's one very pretty watch, that in a re-edition would be very nice!

Thanks DC, I was able to secure the watch over the weekend! I had been kicking myself a couple weeks back for just missing a full set CV2113 but then this CV2114 turned up 😁
I'm having it shipped to a friend in NYC so won't have it in my hands before May unfortunately. Will post pictures as soon as I have it.

Finally received the watch today. Very pleased with it. 39mm feels perfect. Great condition, appears unpolished.

Looks exceptional with the proper logo, its like the whipped cream on mashed potatoes as we say here in Sweden 👍
