Carrera Calibre 17 Chronometer

i have a 3 month old Carrera Calibre 17 COSC I notice that when I start the chronograph by pushing the top button the small seconds hand in the right dial jumps forward slightly. Is this normal for this calibre?

It is the Boutique edition

The right hand dial is the running seconds hand


This should not move at all when the chronograph is started or stopped
