Rover or Toyota engine?
That's the furthest you can go before it's a complete waste of space IMO. If you can't comfortably take your partner and both of your luggage on a weekend trip in it, a sportbike is a better proposition in every way.
Did you ever come across a Lotus Guy by the nickname of Tut, never -well very rarely- wore footwear?
Except for the rain, comfort, lack of stability, lack of being seen by car drivers.... shall I go on?
Driving a Lexus with continuously variable transmission isn’t fun at all, is just 🤮
Driving a Lexus SUV in the rain isn't quite as much fun, though

I'd like to point out that you're photographed in a controlled environment with large runoff areas. The rock wall my S2000 spun me into that rainy night on the parkway wasn't so forgiving.
Agree. Do all Lexus SUVs have CVTs now? (I'd rather a GLC43 anyway)
I think so, like all the hybrid Toyota... as the Prius 😒
And yes, of course a (V6 3.0 390HP) Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 (or the V8 GLC 63 😉) is a very different kind of SUV, and with a great 9-speed gearbox, with which you can have real fun at the wheel, especially when you select the Sport+ driving mode and manual operation with shift pads 🥰
I honestly don't want any car with an automatic, whether it's a CVT or a dual clutch or anything in between. Fortunately I don't have kids so I have the freedom to choose a sports car over anything - so I'm holding onto the S2000 until I can afford* a good 911. Targeting a 997 Turbo.
* I can definitely already afford a 911, or at least I could if I stopped spending all my money on watches
** I don't want to though lol. For me watches are an everyday fun item while a car, here in New York, is an occasional experience.
