Possibly best TH limited edition too? Maybe only beaten by the JH80
Absolutely agree. It was a couple mm away from being perfect.

So, it's looks like due to health problems, I am probably going to have to part with my JS Autavia.... not something I want to do, but I don't think I have much choice.🙁 I need to get as much as possible, so I apologise to those who think I am just money grabbing, though I guess technically I am. 🤔

If anyone knows anyone who I looking for this piece, then please get in touch. It is used but in excellent condition (mainly only worn for special occasions, box and instructions have been stored away and in perfect condition. I do have other TH Autavia straps for it, but I may sell these separately. The watch would be supplied with the original straps which are both unused.

I will put it onto the marketplace or possibly eBay at some point, but felt the need to explain myself on here .......

eBay with a $1 starting price and no reserve will probably take off! I can only find one other for sale, on C24.

Still looking for mine, #059/100 which mysteriously went missing while in FedEx's possession on the way back from service.

Only trouble with eBay is that you have to accept Paypal on listings, which can be quite a risk for sellers on high-value items. Plus eBay and Paypal both take a hefty cut.

Shame you never got recompensed properly for your Siffert 🙁

Agree it is one of the nicest re-issues. Shame more were not made.

Working on it. Story’s not over.

I think it’s fine how limited it is. Better than the usual 2000-unit runs that end up in display cases for years

Yes, but on the other hand while it may be seen by hundreds on a forum listing, it’ll be seen by tens of thousands on the bay. And a no-reserve auction will generally bring a higher price in the end

True, but I usually try the forums first, and then eBay as a last resort. And yes, no reserve £0.99 start price is usually the way to get the best price and lots of watchers.

Yeah - I avoid eBay for selling too. But for someone who doesn't have a presence on the forums, or a past history of sales, eBay's probably a better bet.

I was not suggesting it should have been made in the 1000s. But as a watch, other than the rarity it is not worth 3x the cost of acquisition that a regular one commands. For failrly similar money I picked up both the current LEs!!

But would most here be satisfied with with TH mostly make only <100 LEs? I'm sure more that wanted the 50th Monacos would have appreciated a run of say 250 to 1500? There's a balance between oversupply and engineers scarcity, though I respect that in this particular case it was maybe a case of a limited market due to the collab. It is the obsession with 1860 that makes the numbers too high on most LEs that they make. 100 is rather low for such a beautiful watch.

Without divulging too many details, collaborations need to be fairly limited because of the way TAG Heuer contracts with the collaborator.

fair enough. I’m sure there was very good reason.

And for the record - I was not being critical of the collaboration. It one of the best examples in recent years. Simply that it would be nice if there were a few more of them.

But it does prove one thing - made in the ‘right’ numbers and with the right attention to design, history materials and quality that a TH can avoid plummeting like a stone. 😝

It did not come across to me that you were being critical - all good.

Sorry to hear that- please drop me a DM if you would like any help selling it. I don't know of anyone offhand who is looking for one, but happy to try and help you promote the sale.

Will a ‘club’ LE ever be on the cards again?

Nothing planned at the moment, but there are a couple of ideas. There haven't been any TAG Heuer collabs for some time, so not even sure that they are on the table. Still, all starts with the right idea....

Well, the Fragments are technically a collab, no?

Either way -- I'll pay you to be part of the next C11 LE if I have to! Which isn't to say you didn't do a great job with the Siffert - you absolutely did - but I feel like we have to do everything in our power to get TAG to do the right thing
