I don't really have a problem with there being a Calibre 5 Autavia, it's just that Calibre 7 GMT picture looked horrible - and I'm not terribly attached to the Autavia, in fact of all the TAGs currently available it's probably my least favourite (though I did think the Cal11 one was in a different league) so I can imagine those that really love it are much more upset about it than I am. I'm looking forward to a quartz 3 handed Monza next year and perpetual calender bronze formula one in 2020. 馃榾
Where can I read more about this 3 hand quartz Monza? 馃榿

But what do we talk about for the next 9 months?
Will it be a girl or a boy?

Two things.

There has been a three hand Carrera before the TAGHeuer one.

There has been a diving Autavia before.

True. I'd rather keep the Autavia as a regular part of the range and extend the line of available models rather than keep it a a limited edition chronograph

Got any pictures of the autavia dive watch? Does it look like a generic heritage dive watch, or like an autavia?

How many of the 6 features does the autavia watch cross off?

Really? So all the fuss is unfounded?

What makes that an Autavia? It looks more like a 1000 to me. It doesn't even have an Autavia case does it?

You mean the one on the left that says Autavia?馃槑

Ha, ha, very drole!

Fair enough, but it doesn't really sport any of the Autavia design cues.

To add to my earlier comments regarding the positioning of the watches; if it was to be some sort of nod to vintage dive watch styles, then the "racing chronograph" markers don't quite fit. Either that or a diving/countdown/60 bezel should be the starting point before variations are offered.

As it is, it looks to be a little lost as it were. Other than the simple view that it is a three hand Autavia, I can't immediately see what kind of watch it is.

Of course I'm ignoring that the likely starting point for this was the gmt and the three hander followed, instead of the other way around, as it normally is.

OK, we have been talking at crossed purposes. I thought you were showing us a picture of a 3-hand Autavia diver, hence my comments, which were directed at the watch on the right.

The one on the right is a 1000 series, 1000m diver. I think the pic DC posted was taken to show the diving elements that were used on the Autavia, which were the Mercedes hands, diver bezel and dot indices. A very sought after diver....although many arguments to be had for why it鈥檚 not a diver really

Technically, the 1000m wasn't part of the 1000 model line.
