I am looking for an Autavia Viceroy 1163 for my collection, my question is, which is more collectable and more valued, with caliber 11 or with caliber 12?

Viceroys should all have either Cal. 11i or Cal. 12 - no Calibre 11s. Most are Calibre 12s and there doesn't seem to be much difference in collectability. Your best bet is to simply find the best example you can. I think I saw one on eBay recently with its original bracelet

I've already seen it, but they ask for more than € 8,000. too much for a viceroy

Way too much. A nice Viceroy on bracelet shouldn't cost more than $4000 or so. There's also one on Instagram, from Watches With Patina. Could be worth a look. I don't know the price though.

Set an alert on WatchRecon too

Not a Viceroy, but worth a look? I always feel with vintage it's best to go for the best condition example you can find.

If you're dead set on a Viceroy, I would just keep a look out, set eBay and Chrono24 alerts as abrod520 has said. You shouldn't have to wait too long as there are plenty about. I would certainly recommend paying more for one in super condition.

and an important question is that it would have to be in Europe, since in the US there are good pieces and good prices for the exchange of currency, but after taxes would be too high.

How can I tell if a case is fake or real?

Case or box?

Cases are not often fake. They could be taken from another brand that used the same case supplier of the time, but unlikely a fake case per se, but model and serial numbers between the lugs would be biggest clue as to whether it is a proper Heuer.

There are many reprinted boxes online, and generally it’s the details in the print as I understand that give it away. Specifics though I’m not sure of.
