Any thoughts...New to heuer

I'm not an expert, but it seems to me more common to have the name "Heuer Leonidas s.a" or "Ed Heuer s.a." on the movement, rather than the commercial logo.

Really not sure on this one. It looks like it's from the 1930-40s, an era which is not as well documented as later periods. Also not at era that I know all that well.

Heuer did make some dials with a similar design to this, but some details don't quite look right. For example, at this time the Heuer logo was a lot thinner than it was in the 1960s/ 70s.

On balance I would not have bid for this one. Could be that it's genuine, but there's a risk..

@CarrerOne makes a good point - isn't it generally correct to see just the name rather than the logo on the movement?

The dial looks similar to a lot of 30s/40s watches on ebay, all with different names on the dial. As David said, one like this is more risky and therefore probably one to give a miss.
