·Hey all, new to this group. I was just gifted these 4
stopwatches. I believe they're from the 1960s, as they belonged to my grandfather, who was a referee in the Continental Football League which operated in the mid 60s.
1,2, and 3 are larger and the same. 4 is smaller. Pictures try to show which watch still has a box/black pouch/paper work with it. So #1 has a box but no pouch. #4 has a pouch but no box. 3 and 4 seem more heavily used. 1 and 2 are pretty clean. Looks like all have original bands with Heuer logo. A
few bands are peeling apart in places. I heard the bands themselves are more important than the watch?
Any thoughts, history, insight, potential value, etc would be much appreciated.
I believe they still function as they should. I can start the timer and reset pretty easily. The red arrow on the sides are adjustable, and are all set at 15 minutes. The length of a quarter of play in football.
Thanks!
