What's the bezel material on the steel models?
It's priced high but honestly, I expected it to be higher. I think these make great holiday watches. If the bezel isn't plastic like the originals.

I believe it's the same material that is used on the plastic cased versions, a castor based polyamide which TAG calls "TH-Polylight". This Wired article contains many details on what went into these watches:

https://www.wired.com/story/this-is-how-tag-heuer-revamped-its-iconic-f1-2025-watch/

The article also has these nice side-by-sides of new vs. original.

Also, what the red "McLaren" model looks like on a black strap. This is how the OG was initially released, before the McLaren team requested red straps for their team watch.

Was thinking about the yellow and black but I'm not going to be rushed into buying it.

The treatment of the lugs(?) top and bottom feels a little clumsy. Shows up more in the steel than the colours.

Overall I like them, not sure I want one at that price. Maybe if I wasn’t on a watch buying ban.

And they vary between 1000 to 3000. The Yellow is 1500. Red and Green 1000. Yellow won't be out till October. Plenty of time to check them out and decide.

I just ordered the blue.
Congrats. I am interested in the blue also but not going to rush into anything until I've had a chance to see in person. Not enough wrist shots been posted yet either.

I really like the black and yellow, but the polished crown just looks weird. I know the original had the same, but that crown was so small you really couldn't see it.

Congrats!!!

There's been conflicting reports on the release date of the steel Blue WBY1112. Some articles say available now, others say not until the Silverstone race in June. If you were able to order it, then it must be available, because the others all have "available to order" pre-sale dates on the TH website.

I don't care for the polished crown either. But the originals were not polished, the OG crowns were a matte/satin finish. A minor detail.

Overall, I think TAG nailed it on these. Very retro looking yet updated in a modern way at the same time.

Thanks! The website says they are in stock. I ordered it from my local boutique. No sign that it is not available yet.

Picked up mine!
The dial is really cool. And I’m impressed that they kept the weight very similar to the originals. It’s incredibly light. I love it.

The sales rep said they had 10 in stock and only two left. So they’re selling like hotcakes.

I see these will be extremely popular. The US website had that one showing as "available" just an hour ago, now showing "out of stock". The Blue dial showed "out of stock" from the get-go. Selling like hotcakes indeed!

Attractive but lazily upsized with bad proportions on the hands and tension ring. And as is TAG's new direction, overpriced.

Prob will be moderately successful but it's a couple hundred bucks too dear to be a smash hit I bet.
