So the question is, what comes third?
If you're asking about purchases on THF, the Sundowner is currently 3rd. My rough count of the 2024 releases are as follows:

Seafarer - 7
KITH Hawaii F1 - 5
Sundowner - 4
(But I suspect the Sundowner owners will increase)

For comparison, last year's Panda Carrera 60th Anniversary had 28 THF purchases. Which I think will rank as the all-time high, for a new release in a given year.

Can we have those same watches ranked in terms of THF purchases as a proportion of total available?

Ah, well actually I meant third in the WOTY. Did anyone buy all three?

I got 2 of the 3.
Missed on the Hawaii but am always looking to add it.
60th Carrera is WOTD (WATCH OF THE DECADE)

Good idea, I think it’s:
Seafarer - 7/968
KITH Hawaii F1 - 5/250
Sundowner - 4/250

So Kith, then Sundowner, then Seafarer.

Didn’t see that one coming when they released the Kith’s 😂

That’s nostalgia for you.

I still can’t get past the logo. Would 100% have bought one if it said TAG Heuer on it. Optimistic for a bigger, correctly labled one for next year.

I still don’t get it either but there you go. You like what you like I guess.

As for a bigger TAG Heuer version, I am not so sure tbh. I think it’s nice to reminisce and to pay homage to an ultra cool retro range every so often, but it’s a fine line if it doesn’t explode like expected.

It would suit my taste to be bigger, but I am not so sure that just enlarging the design to a 40-42mm would be enough tbh. It needs to be a modern design but perhaps using the colour mix from the OG’s. Or flip it the other way and do just a slightly bigger version of the OG’s but with more modern range of colours and materials which aren’t just plastic and primary or secondary flat coloured.

Not knocking the originals whatsoever, but times have just moved on and a mix up of old and new always works for me.

Only ever had 2 natos. 1 is the OEM for the BB58 which is different from normal natos. It had specific spring bar gaps cut into the strap and doesn’t have the extra tail to fold over. More a pin buckle fitment minus the pin.

The other is an OEM Seiko one for my Arnie. Which has the keeper fit too close to the case. I do have the tail fit into the 1st keeper though.

Back in the day was never a fan, used to prefer rubber straps. But now like a OEM nato, never a fan of aftermarket things (odd I know).

I’ve handled the Omega natos and feel the are the best around. Believe they offer a few different makes now.

I was also a marketers dream after watching the ‘dink video on how the natos straps were made for Tudor.
Just about to leave for football earlier, and have my beater on for the jog down.

Realised I didn’t have a pic of the Arnie on a Nato.

& yes it was bloody freezing.
