·That Monaco rattrapante makes a pretty epic halo piece. So glad to see movement legend, Carole Forestier Kasapi helming TAG Heuer's movements now. Just shows how serious the brand is about proper watchmaking. Definitely looks good for TAG Heuer for the average muggle.
I was lucky enough to ask Carole on a private online preview of the Only Watch Split-second Monaco last year; "how long till we see a regular production split-second chronograph?" She told me it may take years to make it to mass market but making it in limited numbers was already possible. I guess, this is the reason these Monacos are limited and priced accordingly. They are limited right? A lot more hand finishing than I had expected too.
Apparently only 20 in each colour.

·Is it just me or have a lot of other brands started using TAG Heuer's Glassbox design this year?
So far I've seen it on the new IWC Portuguesers and a very similar crystal on the new JLC Duometres.
