I have slate titanium watch myself, yeah, it is a great material. So do I get it right that you bought the watch but do not want to keep it?

No, I just had a hands-on preview of it and the other TAG releases from LVMH Watch Week.

Yeah, the only thing is that I do not like black watch. Use to have but I prefer steel/titanium. Also the price EUR 3400 for quartz movement from citizen factory does not make a sense even the over all design of the watch is perfect.

I think you have just summed it up perfectly.

You love the watch, but can’t understand why it costs more than Citizen, yet you still love it.

That, right there, is why there’s a difference in price. Branding and design does not come for free.

Hi, I do understand that TH solar more than Citizen, I just do not value TH design 10x more than Citizen. And the fact, it has got old school quartz with solar system inside only highlight that. If They are asking EUR 1600-1700 for this watch I would not hesitate and order one immediately just for the design and legacy that I appreciate about TH. But yeah, I got your point, a brand carries a price - agree with that entirely!

Between the two Solargraphs, I also prefer the black version.

That being said, between the black Solargraph and Night Diver (which I realize is not an apples to apples comparison, solar quartz v. automatic Calibre 5), I would prefer the Night Diver.

This is what i"ve been saying all along about Tag Heuer Solar watches.

Cartier made their Solar tank release and priced it below the mechanical tank (and higher than quartz tank) which is very subtle and appropriate. Not saying Tag Heuer need to follow anyone strategy but...you get my point.

To priced solar release same or even more expensive than the mechanical one is just bewildering to me. (i don't know the price in other country but in here, solargraph is very expensive, it is even more expensive than the mechanical chronograph version of Aquaracer. The discontinued one)

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I have a feeling a Cal 5 Aquaracer with a carbon bezel and a DLC case would cost more than £2550.

After watching this video I have decided I really like the look of this one! Too bad about the hippie movement, but it looks cool af

Totally agree. I'm busy trying to see one. But difficult because there is probably not one available here in the Netherlands..

Best chance is probably to order one from TAG online store, look at it and send it back for free

Hopefully will be seeing both Solargraphs on Saturday and maybe the new Aquaracer chronos and a gold tourbillon too!

The titanium definitely gives it a darker look, which I think suits the watch really well.

In Las Vegas this weekend for my son’s soccer tournament and had some time with my family today to check out the shops. Got to try on the Solargraph in both formats and I think the titanium one is a winner. It fits so nicely on my wrist. It’s odd that usually the tick of the quartz watch just doesn’t do much for me but the blue seconds hand adds a nice pop of color and contrast. A great grab and go. My wife liked it as well as a watch she could wear to the gym. The lighting in there doesn’t help the camera capture it but I tried my best.

Looks really sharp this one indeed. Does the Solargraph have a modern superb clasp with micro adjust similar to the 300 or does it have an old shitter clasp like the ordinary adventure 200m models?

There’s a 7mm quick adjustment piece. Kind of like a normal diver extension, but it actually looks like a link. No on the fly adjustment other than that though. Halfway house really.

Wuut, so you can chose to add or remove 7mm? That is quite the jump!!
