Apple's news aggregation service, covering a couple of magazinzes and newspapers. You might never heard about it, because it is still not available in Switzerland and Germany. Greg
Surprised it stands, since even when other outlets jump the gun we're usually not supposed to share images. Even so, I'm gonna hang onto my wristshot until we have the official go-ahead!
Apologies, I was blissfully unaware of this. I just assumed it was ok if it was out there and info not gleaned from insider info which I had signed an embargo against. Will refrain from images next time.
I think it may be different now it's no longer Calibre11. I presume Tag don't have anything to do with the site any more. That said, we don't want to be an annoyance to the brand. We use their brand name in the domain name and they could easily shut us down (or force us to change names) by arguing it is confusing consumers into thinking we are an official channel.
Agreed, this is a whole lot different than publishing leaked documents... if it's out there anyway and we can point to it being freely available then I guess it's okay. We haven't leaked it, it's Apple. Or Hypebeast, seeing as that appears to be written at the top...
It originated from Hypebeast, they've since removed the article as they jumped the gun. However, as it was pointed out, we're no longer Calibre11.com which had ties to TAG Heuer. We're independent, but just try to be good citizens and not publically share things under embargo. However, sharing something that has already been leaked by another outlet is a little different. Hubert's been too busy with his real job it seems to have even opened up his 60th anniversary Carrera yet. But I suspect we'll hear from him soon enough on whether to allow the pics of the Orange Porsche x Carrera.
It’s so busy and cluttered you just don’t know where to look first. It’s the actual oppositite of a clearly legible dial. A lot of numbers all over the place it seems. The bezel and dial track are fighting each other and they’re not even alligned. This is how it used to be done. Photo by Heuer Price Guide Universe falling into place when I look at that one.
Too much orange circles on the dial, which looks too busy For me this is the worst Porsche collaboration up to now. And it’s a shame, because orange & black is a nice combo, but I think here it is not well applied
Yeah, too much squished on that dial. The big hour/minute numbers are not my favourite, but they definitely don't fit with everything else on this one. The bezel being the same colour as the dial doesn't help and will make it wear larger too.
This is exactly what I told my Boutique Manager last week when we were looking at the watch and discussing it. Way to cluttered and busy. The Yellow from last year looks alot better.
The perfect accessory for the watch is currently avilable at Motorworld Munich: Although I'd assume @Mspeedster would prefer the second one from the left. Greg
Yep. Similar to the Dark Lord. Limited amount coming out initially and then put on a waiting list afterwards.
Waiting list.... okay. Still the yellow ones sold out pretty quickly so maybe there's a lot of orange Porsche owners out there with cash to burn.
