Nostalgia is a form of homesickness. It expresses a general longing for the old days, for 'the good old days'.
My opinion is that it failed. I will stick with the original. Like someone said, its too much mish mash.

This one is growing on me, and I also like that WOS is producing their own limited edition models in conjunction with TAG Heuer. I like it better than the green titanium version (and I like green), but it does feel odd to me that it takes a lot of design cues from the Tudors as others have mentioned.

Has anyone an opinion (ideally backed up by facts…) whether this is the same Ti case finish as on the green one or not?

I find the photos so far pretty misleading - especially since the green one has very a particular, almost brownish tone to it IRL 👎

I think the coloring on the green is influenced by the bezel. I doubt it's a new finish, it's the same as on the Bamford and the green

I know why I was getting an antique vibe and a sense of Deja vu, the metal finish & Tudor looks reminds me of the Black Bay GMT Only Watch.

I do wish Tudor would release a black bezel gmt.

Including those shiny balls, Rob? 😉

How do you know about my shiny balls?

Have you ever lost any of your shiny balls? It kinda surprises me that all my shiny balls are present and correct, and I've owned three of them..

No, never lost them. Not even the black ones. What I do know is that they are often missing from watches offered. But I think they are broken. You often see some residual material left behind.

I wonder how they are affixed? Are they even actually 'balls'? Could be screwed in or something?

You cannot approach the balls from inside the bezel. So not screwed. Presumably with a 'bullet shape' and pressed/glued into it.

Good to know. You should never approach the balls from the inside...

I have an old bezel laying around. Hence my careful analysis.. For anyone who wants to buy a 3000, check dose balls! 😉

Well done Matt, you managed to distract me from commenting on that Tudor, good job they only made one if you ask me.

Managed to compare the 2 titanium 300’s over the weekend. It is definitely the same finish on the case and bracelet.

Nice comparison, both two very good looking watches
