Price of this new version is a joke… are they paying the sponsoring cost to the RBR team
with the sale of this watch? 🤦

This version is easier to link with RBR than previous versions because it has all the RBR colours on the dial… but I think there are too many colours there, and the final result is not so balanced and elegant as the previous ones. I think first version is the best one, and from there they have gotten worse 👎
Agree with most of what you're saying, except I actually like the second one the best because of the blue dial treatment, it really pops when you see it in person. It also has all the RedBull colors, except the use of red is more subtle compared to the new one.

This is the MOST “Red Bull” F1 watch for me 👍 If you have a Red Bull shirt, this is a perfect partner to it 😉

I like the placement of the Formula 1 on top of TAG Heuer logo and makes the models more consistent with each other 👍

Some live shots here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CZjyOZ8qcja/

Sorry RedBull Racing fans, but this one is not for me. Too busy, too toy-like looking and too expensive (for a quartz model). Not to mention the silly grid block thingy.

I agree with you Michael.
I'm going in today to visit my Boutique and hopefully they have it in.
Will try and get some close up shots to share with everyone.

Hard to argue with that choice.

But my little old Gulf F1 still keeps me happy. 😀
Ah, yes, this one is awesome.

Even if I don't like the new F1 very much personnally, it sure is a playful watch. It seems the F1 line is just for fun and colorful, trying things that are not allowed elsewhere.

Great pics @Anthony.R , thanks for sharing! After seeing it in person, did your impression change?

I was quite surprised at how Nice the Blue is.
The thickness also surprised me. I thought it was going to be thinner.
All in all its ok but not something I would spend $3100AUD on.
After all its a Quartz movement.

Finally made it in to see all the new stuff. This F1 is better in person and the dark blue dial is indeed nice but it still is a bit incoherent with those ‘grid markers’ or whatever - and especially the ‘redline’ once the chrono reaches 7 hours which is rather confusing.

Interesting photo, does the red really look that pale? That was one of my issues with the previous model...

The quartz F1s do wear thicker for some reason, I can't figure out why. My Gulf F1 measures 12.5mm in thickness by my calipers but it wears like it's nearly 14mm. It's quite perplexing to me.

Bright store lights have a way of washing out color. I can never get good pics when I try things on. The red on the previous one looked darker when I saw it in person compared to most pics, so I suspect this one can look darker too depending on the lighting.

I quite like the design of this one tbh. Favourite of the Red Bull editions so far. But yes, could do without the grid markers.

Grid markers or pit box look weird no doubt, but what a wonderfully nerdy fun detail implemented on a watch that is pure Formula 1 racing all the way through. Aimed at a very specific audience like myself

Red past seven is “redline” at 7(000) RPM 😗
I guess one can use it to time the work day. Once you reach red pressure it is time to close down and go for a drink instead 😁
