Just got some info from the Tag boutique in London that they've been told that the Dark Lord revival would be a 500 piece production only. This came as a surprise as I thought it's not meant to be a limited edition. Next batch is expected in 3-4 months time.

Although that's good news for those of us who got one, it's still 10x more than the original number I was given when I placed my pre-order.

Oh I'd heard the initial availability was 50pcs to the US, but that it wasn't a limited edition at all - just limited production (meaning fewer pieces produced per year, but ongoing production nonetheless).

The most "reasonably priced" Dark Lord just got reserved on C24. Took less than 48 hrs from when it went online.

Just heard …. The purple one will be individually numbered up to 500 . I get to see one tomorrow

I really wanted to like the green Monaco from 2021, but I agree with this statement. I wanted the color to “pop” far more than it did. Still, a wonderful piece. I’ll hold out hope for a new green one (someday).

I got an official TH replacement strap for mine, since it really should not be on a croc strap. Here is what it looks like (with some shots in a vintage Heuer box from my original Dark Lord) ...

FWIW, and if you havent already seen, I am selling the above watch on ebay (for essentially retail price), as I wish to fund a another vintage addition to my collection.

Totally agree. I think this watch should come with a black leather rally strap. I like it much more this way than on the croc strap 👍

Playing with the BAMFORD watch customizer, this is as close as I could get with the colors made available on their website. If they had a cream/beige color, it would be a little closer to the Dark Lord. But I suspect Bamford could create a more faithful tribute for those willing to pay for something custom.
