Did anyone else read the recent article with TH ambassador Elordi wearing the 'Dark Lord' - new role learning to play cards...... could this be the new Bond prequal?

Yeah I caught that. At first I thought it was a joke, but now I notice the Bond prequel comment seems to have been edited out of the article. Oops, did Elordi leak something he wasn't supposed to?! 😲

Or perhaps it was a comment made jokingly and then was removed to not spark rumors. 😒

If Elordi is playing a young pre-MI6 Bond and if this isn't an official EON production Bond movie, might we see TAG Heuer on the wrist of Bond again?

A friend of mine in the industry, was telling me his friend had lunch with Barbara Broccolis daughter (I know I know). Since NTTD the are looking to reinvent Bond & have him period correct (think 60s). It follows on from some Fleming Novel where bond thought to have died on an island from a bone, but washed up somewhere.

Pinch of salt I know.

Could be. But as far as I know, there is no such Fleming novel where Bond dies on an island. In the book version of From Russia with Love, Bond does seem to die from Rosa Klebb's poison shoe blade at the end of the story. But Fleming brings him back when he writes his next novel, having Bond recover from the poison. The movies were not done in the correct order, as From Russia with Love was actually the 5th novel and Dr. No was the 6th.

Also, in a recent Deadline article, Barbara Broccoli states they haven't decided how they want to reinvent Bond yet, nor have they started to think about the actor. https://deadline.com/2022/06/james-...-007-reinventing-barbara-broccoli-1235053969/

Perhaps her comments were a smoke screen. Who knows.

But if Elordi is going to play a young Bond in an Eon production, would Omega need to break his contract with TAG Heuer? Hmmm.

He's an up & coming actor, mostly known for Netflix movies and a HBO series Euphoria. Which actually makes me wonder if this so called Bond prequel series might be a new Amazon streaming series. Since Amazon now owns MGM, who in turn have co-ownership of Bond along with EON & Danjaq. Perhaps something similar to the old TV series "Young Indiana Jones"? 🙄

True i did read that, but surely in this game, nothing is giving away.

Isn't the Omega contract up soon? I'd imagine they'd want to keep and have deeper pockets than Tag
