No, they've decided to go with a cut-to-size option. Probably because it fits the micro-adjust clasp better - there's no overhang.
The watch itself is fine, it's the same size as the regular Aquaracer and aside from the GMT hand and white portion of the bezel is actually the standard blue-dial Aquaracer - so if you've tried that one on, chances are you'd like this one.
I haven't had that problem with mine, but I also don't mind the minor difference in thickness.
It's definitely not a "made-up difference" - actually traveling with a caller GMT is kind of a pain compared to the fun of being able to quickly switch the local hour on a flyer GMT. After having owned 3 caller GMTs, there's a reason that only the Black Bay GMT remains in my collection and there's a reason I won't buy another caller GMT.
I bought the original Yema Superman GMT blue/grey because it looked cool; I sold it because it wasn't very fun to wear.
