No mention of Le Mans anywhere. My guess is we’re seeing the impact of last year’s shutdown messing with release dates (eg this years Hodinkee Dato carrying 160 Years on the rotor- clearly intended to be a 2020 launch).

Maybe this was originally planned for LeMans 2020?

The dial really is spectacular, looking!

I'm far more impressed with the dial than I am the case.

Your response makes me laugh a bit because as far as my eye goes, I have the exact opposite viewpoint.

The left-hand crown and horizontal indices, while unconventional, yes, are absolutely what MAKE a Monaco for me. I'd go so far as to say that in nearly all cases, I think that Monacos with the crown at 3-O'Clock look BAD. It just makes the watch look horribly unbalanced in my opinion. And the horizontal indices visually fill up the negative space left by fitting a round movement in a square case in a way that the radial indices just don't do.

The Monaco has always been a watch that was not for everyone, but I feel like the original setup IS what Monaco is, and attempts to change that, via the crown position, or hour marker placement just ruin the look for me.

Each to his own, and I'm in no way saying any of that to be rude. I'm just a firm believer that they got it RIGHT (or is it left???) the first time!
Glad my post gave cause to laugh! I fully understand and respect your view-point and took none of your post as 'rude'

I'm new to the world of Monaco's, so perhaps these oddities in design will come to be appreciated some time in the future - I'm struggling to understand why someone involved in the design of the original could come up with the idea of horzontal indices. Radical and a departure from the conventional perhaps. I simply see it as loss of symmetry (and confusion) on the dial...it hurts my eyes, Terribly!
One day, one day maybe it'll click. For now, I'll enjoy my Cal12 RH winders without my eyes bleeding <wink>

Enjoy your weekend all 😀

Wow that is so fuckin cool, love it.

Its been too long since they released a Max collaboration watch, I wonder if we will ever get to see another one. Wishful thinking but would be cool if next year they release a Max Monaco.

I also just noticed that this One of One Max 33 Monaco GP Titan has red stitching on the strap, instead of the standard silver stitch.

Maybe got a personalized F1 quartz?

TAG Heuer: Checo, you need to win podiums so you can display our TAG Heuer chronographs after the race!

Checo: Okay 🙁 I’ll try my best. But after that, can you give me my personalized special editions? 😗😗

Ok then, now Max has to at least compete in the LM 24, maybe a top 3 finish.

Wish it was a Heuer-branded box...

Is the travel case something that could be purchased separately at an AD?

Maybe if Aston Martin hadn't canned their Valkyrie Hypercar program... But with the way that relationship has gone, who knows...
