Can easily be ordered by an AD. I ordered the 1980s blue one for my Monaco. Runs about $110. Very reasonable...
Yes, I ordered it yesterday. £90. Very reasonable as you say as someone used to paying omega £200 for a strap! Good value I think
Managed to get a couple of better shots. It’s a really hard watch to take a photo of firstly because the sapphire is so reflective but actually it only goes really green when at that point of maximum reflection. it’s quite subtle, but the contrast with the subdials is lovely when the sun hits it right. It’s certainly not a loud green - quite restrained and, for me, better for it.
I do love it … hasn’t taken long for it to really make an impression on me. now I have to worry about the last edition grey Calibre 12 … and if it ever sees the light again :
I think we need some pics of that Grey Last Edition C12. In the picture where it looks black, the green Monaco reminds me of the C12 all black.
Congratulations. Glad you like it. It’s quite difficult to explain, but it’s certainly got me. I love the fact it’s subtle and when you want it to you can tilt your wrist and it pops (albeit subtly). I also find it a lot less sporty than the other Monaco’s I tried on. Maybe it’s the less in your face colour, but it actually works with a shirt/suit. I’ve had a number of green watches/ dials in the past and this is far and away the best execution (for my taste). Gotta say I’m pretty smitten with it having initially had some doubts. I even think the alligator suits it - albeit I’m looking fwd to the brown rally strap showing up eventually.
I read you’re not supposed to photograph your watch in your car...why the heck not? What a great day. Best, M.
LOL I think they just meant don't do it while driving, obv. You're clearly more responsible than that!
