Well, apparently umlauts make a lot of difference.... ratt means 'steering wheel', but rätt means 'correct'! What sort of nonsense is that?

Aha, them pesky additions to change the meanings of letters that aren’t on our keyboards, designed for Europeans to their own back on use for having identical words with multiple meanings.
