My daughter tells me I’m special and she’s glad I was limited to one, but I don’t think she’s complementing me when she says it.
I guess a watch can be 'special' and also 'limited'. A 'limited' watch may not be 'special', and a 'special' watch could be unlimited, this apparently is both. I always assumed 'Special' meant, limited but too many pieces to really call it limited. I don't actually think they ever 'see how it goes'... I think they make a run and that's it.
Could “special” be a commemorative watch with as many as they want to produce and limited, well restricted numbers.
Could be. It was Mother Ocean Day yesterday (10th May) - https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/mother-ocean-day/

Here come all the Reviews. Interesting to see the first YouTube review of live video. Great job @kappa_md for sharing.
I have heard platinum / salmon dial as well, but we'll see if they've changed course. Sometime this year I think.
I think the color looks great, but my issue is that real-world photos show the polished chrono hands disappearing against the dial. Think it would have been better were they white or at least matte. Personally I'm not very into TAG's new strategy of "everything is a limited edition" though, for the Carrera and Monaco lines.
Yeah and I imagine not too many people would be interested, which is why the new rumors about white gold could be true. We'll find out towards the end of the year I suppose.
