Managed to try on the 300m 'ladies' 36mm at Gatwick last week, size was lovely compared to the 43mm, but having the bezel on this size made the dial too small, and felt noticeable smaller than the BB58. Shame wished they made this model in 40/41mm as I do like all the quirky aspects of this design. No pics I'm afraid
I just noticed the 844 tribute model is available on-line again (in the US). Surprising given it's limited to just 844 pieces and was showing sold out for quite a while. I'd be very tempted to snag this one, but my watch funds are depleted for the year.
How odd. Wonder if a number had gone to ADs who couldn't sell them or something, and now they're back in the corporate boutique & eCom network.
Yeah, I've seen this happen a few times with LE's that I thought were long gone. Not sure what happens behind the scenes, but whatever the case, it's a great opportunity for anyone who might've wanted one of these new. This one is the cream of the crop as far as I'm concerned! 👍
Wasted sometime over the weekend looking at some watches, my usual contenders Monaco/ Speedy. But also managed to try on the Professional 200 in grey, much nicer IMHO than the blue.
However, bezel did have a lot of play, as much as like the look, i don't think it would displace the BB58, nor either one of the Monaco or Speedy.
The following day, I popped into my local Costco, went to the watch/ jewellery display. 2 Aquaracer on the shelf. Prices seemed good, although I expect better through grey dealers, and or if you can manage discount at dealers.
