As nice as they both are, it doesn't seem like TAG put a whole lot of extra thought into the details...
It's definitely a big diameter, but it wears very nice and thin - hugs the wrist rather than sitting on top. When I say TAG did an excellent job on the new Aquaracer case, I mean they truly got the finer points right
Must say, quick window shop look whilst in town over the weekend, AD had the older Aquaracers, the new blue, green and black versions and ladies blue, they do look very very interesting would like to get hands on with the blue version, but equally looking forward to the smaller versions due out sans cyclops. For me on aesthetics looks nicer than the Omega Seamaster but can see where the styling clues have come from.
The new Aquaracers are getting a lot of attention lately. Have to say it is slowly growing on me. Excited for when Swedish ad's finally will start having them in stock so I can try them on
I was in Bluewater earlier today and saw that they had a number of the new Aquaracers in the window. I have to say they looked a little better in person than they do to me in the pictures - not a whole lot different from the outgoing model - but still didn't wow me. I saw a number of nice looking Breitlings, but the best ones were all over £6k and that's getting towards GS White Birch money
Personally I'm looking forward to more Aquaracers without the slatted dials. I think the 844 Edition works best mainly because of the matte dial
I look forward to some more exciting colours! I want to see a summery pool turquoise kind of blue! And a yellow!
I can offer to fly to England and pick it up for you. I promise it will have a loving home here with me
A very generous offer (obviously) but due to international watch treaty co-habitation regulations, unfortunately - and I cite the very official documentation - “the dual citizenship of an 844 is strictly forbidden in country’s beginning with G and N, unless you are Kate Beckingsale”
