UK TAG website says 拢3,250. Can't work out if that seems a fair price or not. It's only a Cal.5, but I like that it's titanium, and I like the dial. They're doing the "one of..." numbering again which I don't like. The 43mm size adds some value for money... I think I need to see it in the metal if possible. The sandblasted finish does seem very early 90's.

Hmm, I calculated from dollars and it came to 拢2900 which I thought was a fair price, if it's 10% more then... hmm. Also, your assertion that it looks like a 3000 bothers me. I love my steel 3000 and I've always said I would like a bigger, up to date version... well here it is. But that makes me think will I stop wearing my old 3000s? Do I need to update? Aaaargh!

Maybe it's the sandblasted finish that looks like some of the TAG Heuer divers of the 1980s

Wasn't there a titanium tag range? Maybe called the titanium?

that鈥檚 not a bad looking watch at all, and it has some orange. So I approve 馃憤

Price-wise it's not bad, especially for titanium. Still more expensive than a Tudor Black Bay and around the same price as a Pelagos though, which offers some food for thought.

i think it manages to be both at once, they鈥檝e done a good job with this one. BWD get a lot of stick - and lets face it some of their designs deserve it - but occasionally they hit the spot and this one does just that I think.
I think it's nice. But don't get the radar element?

I do like the hands very much. Best part of the design to me.

Yes indeed... it started as a Heuer product and continued briefly under the TAG Heuer banner.

Don't ask me what's going on with the gold stripes though.....

I like it very much. The Titanium case reminds me also a bit of the super professional, altough that was steel.
The first gen connected was also titanium and the Carrera Heuer 01 grey phantom of course.

Also the CV2A80 Carrera is uncoated titanium...

Seemed to be a bit of a trend in those days, kind of like the Omega Seamaster Polaris Titane

I'm interested to know how it's done, is it a 'veneer' that's inset?

Or is it just plated on top? I presume not as they seem too resiliant for that.

I prefer the 41mm aquaracers, but probably in the minority on that one.

No I agree, 43 mm three handers get a little too big
