The CBL2111 makes me wonder how long it will be before we see a Heuer 02 powered successor to the CAW211P C11 Blue McQueen. I suspect it could be right around the corner, in 2020 perhaps?

My apologies! I'll read up on your opinions so far and leave it to you whether this thread should be deleted or not!
I kind of like the H2 Monaco having its own thread. Since technically the other thread should be for the Monaco 50th Anniversary special editions and this watch is not a Monaco 50. Nor is the C12 Final Edition, also being discussed in that thread.

I copied the older posts to this thread, so that this can become the primary for this reference model.

Got an email from my AD claiming to have the new H2 Monaco in stock. I'll try to head down there and see how it looks in the steel!

Where in the world are you at this moment, Netherlands or Sweden?

Oh yes and also, take some pictures for us please 🥰
It's a bit complicated, but I'm in the Netherlands at this moment. It seemed strange that the AD already got the new H2 Monaco, but according to their email and website, they're supposed to have one in stock. I'll make sure to post some pictures as soon as I find out!

Someone leaked a photo of it last week, a jeweller... can't remember where they were but they clearly had stock before the release date.

Went and got to try the new Monaco. Just as Aquagraph wrote, the ADs seems to have gotten them a few weeks earlier but was of course under strict embargo to not reveal anything until this morning (at least for the Netherlands).
I was not a big fan of the sunburst dial on the earlier Calibre12 reference and the running second's hand bugged me a little bit on the photos. After have spent almost half an hour with the watch I am converted. The dial shades beautifully from a clear blue dial to an almost black, dark blue colour. I'm not entirely convinced about the small second's hand, but it was actually quite nice to have something moving on the dial.

All this, in combination with the H2 movement visible on the back did convince me a little bit; if/when I'm getting a Monaco I want this!

Awesome, thanks for sharing your thoughts and photos @Lugduno

The H02 Monaco would comlement your Autavia very well and make a great couple. I hope your Panerai-curiosity has passed now and you realized that Monaco is the way to go or did your visit to the Paneristi world meetup take you further in the wrong direction? 😉
