I agree completely with @Big Adam. We mustn't purchase watch and wishing the value will be sky rocketed. In most of the case (99.9% as Big Adam said) it won't be. Even if it does, you still need to find buyer who are willing to purchase the second hand watch at the price you offered (which in most cases will involve haggling haggling haggling before actual deal being done). I have one example of friend who used to own rolex millgaus. He bought it new and after 3 years he sold it for the same price he first bought it. Because the new on the store millgaus after 3 years are already increase in price. Did he profited ? Depends on how you look at it. He did wear a nice watch for 3 years that cost you nothing some might say. But he didnt really get the extra profit 100% from what he paid in first place. That being said, lets not it discourage you either buying watch. If you like what you buy, that's worth golden ! Happy collecting !
That dial is amazing. I've been wearing my anthracite model this weekend. Nice, but I reckon the blue is nicer
Yes, that blue is sublime. I wonder if the new black model will have a sunburst effect as well? The original Instagram picture from the prototype in Baselworld made it look flat.
I am convincing myself it's fall season hence wearing watches with tan / brown tonalities. At the same time, I am fooling myself, considering I work in Saudi Arabia and there's only one season all year long: hot like hell.
It's not on its original strap. I had commissioned heuerville for a custom strap. Come to think of it, maybe I should put it on next week's schedule.
