Keep your eyes peeled on eBay... that's where I found mine.

 

I saw one a while ago. But I was too slow. Probably lost it to you

 

Could be... beware of the replacement copies that are sold there... they don't fit.

 

There is this seller on ebay (wholesaleoutlet990) that some guys at ChronoTrader were discussing about. It seems his bezel insert looks quite good.

Looks like it's dated 14th May in the picture Best to contact him and see what he's got. He may be able to find what you're after if not.

 

"Unearthing" this thread mainly to ask a question to the community here (after having checked what feels like most bits of info available on other forums that I could find through Google)...

I would need a replacement bezel insert for a 11630 Heuer Autavia. Since there's no way on earth that I can afford a period replacement, I wanted to ask whether there's still the same consensus that the replacement ones (presumably from China) that can be found all over eBay and elsewhere are the recommendable way to go - mainly quality- and fit-wise?

Note that for whatever reason there only seem to be tachy inserts (but no MH ones) available for the 11630, but that's fine with me anyway.
