👍

No, it’s because a personal memory: it was in Spa-Francorchamps ‘93 where I met Ayrton during an exclusive interview. My mother and me were working for a car magazine at that time (as a journalists and photographers), and we went there because his personal assistant, Betise Assumpção, was able to book us an hour with Ayrton after the practice sessions in Spa to interview him (just Ayrton, my mother, and me, at the Marlboro motorhome).

I have very fond memories of that interview and of meeting him in person. He exceeded my expectations, and I already had a very good opinion of him 👍 He was really kind to us, and I was surprised by his humility… the complete opposite of the arrogance that other F1 drivers show after winning Titles… or even without having won any.
Oh yes, I remember that well, but didn't realize you met him at Spa. A cherished memory for you indeed! 😀

To my best knowledge it is a early prototype of the never released Tag Heuer Edge. It has no logo on dial, crown or caseback, nor does it have the logo on bracelet and the clasp are not labeled BA0250. But it has the signed movement, and exept from the missing logos, everything else is 100% the same as those few factory mounted with logo. I have a blue chrono as well without logo. See attached photo for comparison between the asumed factory mount chrono and the prototype.

Awesome!

I enjoy my Aquaracer Bamford also. It's such a pleasing watch.
I personally like it on the bracelet but I must say, seeing it on the rubber strap has made me wonder what it would look like on an orange strap.
Might have to search out a fitting orange strap from somewhere.

In any case, nice piece

Bracelet for me too, though the ribbed strap goes quite well with the dial. 👍

Thank you, I've searched everywhere for an orange strap in similar style (that fits all the way up to the bezel) but can't see any. I tried a straight edged orange strap (it was an F1 22mm strap) but didn't look as nice. If you find any or anyone else does, please let me know!

Yeah I have just been trying to find a suitable orange strap and like you, not having much luck.
Was thinking of the Orange strap that comes with the Superdiver as an option. Will have to talk to a AD about this option.
While I was searching though, I did come across a nice option in a Nato style. What do you think?

Yeah I was looking at that orange strap with the super diver also so let me know. I had that NATO style strap but it didn't feel great on, a bit too thin for the watch. It looks good off wrist though. Thanks

Thanks , Good to know about the Nato Style. The MN strap in the photo is not cheap but seems to be made well.
Will let you know if I get any info on the Superdiver.

If you're not familiar with MN straps, you should know that it's soft pajama-like material and stretchy. Not like a NATO at all

That combo looks coooooool though!

Sacrilege this morning, before heading out for a bike ride.

Great watch thou. I wear mine a lot. I like the ‘crown guards’ on the top right button on yours, mine doesn’t have those and I catch it occasionally
