Another old Seamaster.

Congrats @abrod520!!! I'm quite envious of your recent Seamaster purchases. I've fancied that one for a long time! It's vintage from the mid '60s I presume. Do you know the year?

Haven't opened it up but I feel like most of the casebacks are 166.024-67. Might take a look sometime this week.

Wears excellently - really makes you wonder why modern 300m WR watches are so thick and this one is perfectly svelte.

That's the model I had hoped Omega would've re-issued for the Seamaster's 75th Anniversary, in the exact dimensions of the original.

I keep hearing rumblings about it, we'll see if that happens. Would be an absolute banger if they did

Well Planet Omega in NYC is next week I think.

Although many want this return of the Seamaster. I have a feeling the 300 (not Professional model) is Omegas modern version of this.

Yeah, I'm not sure how a reissue would fit into the lineup. Though it would most likely be a limited edition, like the Trilogy was.

I don't know if they plan any releases at Planet Omega, but I'll be visiting on Tuesday and will report back if there's anything new. Pretty sure it'll just be a bunch of super cool museum pieces though

That’s a shame, I’m hearing a smaller Speedy is to be announced at some point. My guess either a new FOIS or reduced, but that might be earlier part of next year.

Presume spirate is to be rolled across the board at some point.
