^ Would love to track down others from that family of Cal 17 Carreras someday (such as CV5110 and CV211A).

Congrats!
The CV5111 silver and blue panda dial is my favorite from that series.

Yes sir, that one is lovely, too. I think all six from that series are fantastic.

It also happens to be the 77th anniversary of Timothy Dalton; just realized these two legends of the brand share the same birthday. :)

It’s a new watch that I gathered the parts.
I plan to update the dial and hands within a month.

Hi Snowy I have just had one made up by my watch maker in Sydney! I am trying to source a band for it and notice your can you give me a reference for yours?

Best regards A95A9D65-39DC-4B94-B07B-42393B6BE6D5.JPG

Thank you for the tip @imagwai , I purchased a few straps from Watchstrap World. Very nice straps for the deployant. This is blue buffalo grain racing strap.

That's the one I've got. Been considering trying out another of their straps.

Superb photos brobeans, my desire for this watch is coming back!!
Thank you my friend! ;) It’s much better IRL!! ::love::

I always loved this Autavia CBE2110, but not its retail price, so when it was offered to me at the TAG Heuer boutique at a much more tempting price, I couldn't miss this opportunity! ::love::

BTW, its Calibre Heuer 02 certainly roars from time to time, but I like it: It seems as if it had a combustion engine inside, as if it were alive, and wearing it on your wrist becomes a more special and unique experience :)

:D :D
But I mean it seriously: just as I like that a car with petrol engine sounds more and offers different -for me better- sensations than an electric car, I also like to feel differences when I wear an automatic watch or a quartz/digital watch… so I like the roar of the Calibre Heuer 02 ;)
