Arnie today 😀
Calibre 1887 is the only choice if you want a Tag Heuer with manufacture movement, date and not in 43mm, 44mm or 45mm 😉

Is the car yours too? Awesome!

Yellow and green colours are very popular these days, so I chose them today for my Modular combo 😉

Today on the wrist: Dan Henry 1964 silver dial. The movement is just a standard Seiko mecaquartz but the bang for buck when it comes to the dial and overall aesthetic is very impressive. A nice tribute to early Carreras, 321 Seamaster chronographs etc.

I’n tempted to pick of the reverse panda variants next…bicompax version in particular looks good!

I was looking at the Panda bicompax too, along with the 1972 Maverick as it is a much much cheaper alternative to the Orfina Porsche Design PD01 that I’d like

That looks really nice !! How’s the quality ??
I’m just hovering above the buy button as we speak. I think all in it will £367 as there’s import fees so juts doing the man maths

Quality is very good so far. And it comes in a nice package. It's limited and numbered.
I am not sure about longevity yet. Setting date and time is a bit too smooth, the crown gives almost no resistance... The lume is weak. Those are the negatives so far.
But all in all you get pretty good value for the money!

Doing a spot of bank holiday weekend gardening. May as well wear a watch built like a tank for the job!

Indeed. I have to get a good night sleep to decide. Lot of money but a very nice watch!

Just went to order the black pvd and typically it’s now sold out in their page !!

that’s twice this week I’ve missed out on things !! Not happy about missing out on the Dan Henry at all. Have emailed them to see if they have any left at all

Watch has been sold. But to someone else..
I had too much doubt. So maybe a good thing to.
My budget still is intact for other fun stuff.
