This’ll be killer on a light tan strap as well
Good idea! I'll have to try that. Also thinking about a black & grey Bond style NATO too.

Nice. How are you finding the new rubber strap? Looked very comfortable when I tried it on.

How are you liking it?
Super quality, well made. Wears slightly bigger than a 39mm due to the large dial. I'm really liking it, but whether it will have a long-term place in the collection, it's a bit early to say.

Nice, nice clean lume on the dial too!
Thanks Rob! 😀 Yes, I bought it new about 26 years ago but it still looks great and works perfectly 👍. It was my first TAG Heuer, I love it 😀

I've bought all of my TAGs new. 100%

Back in the late 80s/early 90s, my purchases included the original F1, 2000 series, and three S/ELs. The start of my watch collecting literally coincided with TAG's first release, the F1. Good times! 😀

(My latest purchase, the Heuer 1000 Night Diver, was obviously pre-owned, but technically it's not a TAG.)

👍 Yes, except for three of my Connecteds and the Calibre 5 Modular 45 module, I also bought the rest of my TAG Heuers new, but not all of them at the time of the watch. For example, in 2019 I bought the 1994 6000 Senna new, and in 2020 I bought the 2010 300 SLR new, and I would appreciate both of them even more if they had been at home since 1994 and 2010 respectively. That is why I have special appreciation for my S/el CG1110, because it was my first TH and I bought it new when it was in the brand's catalog, and it has been at home for 26 years 😀

I was too busy paying my mortgage to buy watches in the 90s and 00s. Funnily enough the end of my mortgage roughly coincided with the start of my rapacious watch purchasing! Still only bought a handful of watches new...
