Ah the days when TAG Heuer actually was avant garde and actually came up with something original and new...

The seller had this listed as a 973.005 so I simply had it saved as such. Turns out it is indeed a 973.006. Sorry for the confusion😬 And lesson learned to always check the ref. number on a recent acquisition. This one is coming with a TAG Heuer shielded crown too.
That makes sense. 👍 A .005 would indicate a much smaller ladies model, but isn't within this range as @Mspeedster mentioned.
As these are so 'late' too it's no surprise at all to get a mix-up of parts.

I'd say one of the best Carreras of the last 20 years!

I totally agree 👍, the Carrera 300 SLR is fantastic 🥰 and the 1955 Mercedes-Benz model chosen to give it its name is -in coupé version, called 300 SLR 'Uhlenhaut Coupé'- my favorite car of all time, so this Carrera had to be at home 😉

I couldn’t buy it when it was introduced in 2010, but I couldn't resist again when I found a NOS 300 SLR -the 2222 of 5000- ten years later 🥰

Trying out the Night Diver on a NATO strap today.

It also helps to preserve the PVD jubilee bracelet.
