I’ve been mostly buying 36-38mm watches this year.

 

I have many many other watches that are 36-38mm.... like that purp.... I mean BLUE Kirium!

6.75". I think it's the thickness of it that is making it look a bit too big on the wrist in that angle of shot (the wrist being further away from the face of the watch).

I concede that 36mm (and a bit thinner) would be better.

 

Yeah I was referring to the 36-38mm posts above. I love 39mm.

 

Wrist shots are hopeless to be honest. I realised this a few years ago when I tried to do a post about 'Watch size' and took photos of all 6 watches (no really) that I had at the time. The Aquagraph (which is 42mm IIRC) looked like it was about 50mm in the photo and I notice other people's shots of watches like Submariners (which many consider the perfect size) always look too big too. Also, my Executive, which is 34mm and looks very small IRL looked nicely sized in my wrist shot, so there we are...

 

Distortion to do with the height. The closer to the watch the bigger it will appear.
These two taken from my usual height and from let’s say 30cm away. It actually looks like something between these two.

 

It’s Tuesday so it’ll be a 42mm for me

 

Well-here's my new TAG. 37mm case on my girly 6.75inch wrist. Black/white job done.

 

Oh wow that looks like it's choking me I've just gotten out of the shower so my wrists are extra large lol. I assure you it's comfortable
