New one? 馃憤

Can't buy one of those... should be interesting to see what happens come service time. Will TAG try to replace it?

Yeah, TAG will likely tell you it can't be serviced and offer you a discount on a new watch. A specialist independent would probably be your only hope, but even then, if they can't get parts, the watch's days are numbered.

Thanks!!! I just bought last week when I was in Italy on vacation. The blue dial looks so classy and crisp. If i can get my hands on the F1 Gulf strap, it will look even better. Hard to get that strap for a decent price. It is like 600 from TAG.

Yup some straps are insanely priced! I think some of our Gulf owners in the forum have found some really nice third party strap options, maybe Michael @Mspeedster can help put with some inspiration?

That would be great. I have found sites that sell third party straps and even authentic straps for a lower price but I have not found that strap specifically from a 3rd party vendor. Some similar but they are different

Did you check with a local AD on the retail price for the Gulf F1 strap? Pretty sure I saw someone on TAG Facebook group saying it was around $110 from his AD. My orange strap is aftermarket, I like color contrast better than the blue OEM strap.

Also, welcome to the forum!

I checked with one authorized dealer here on Long Island and it was $475.00 without the buckle. That is crazy. Yours looks like the Verstappen model now. Sure that is what you were looking for. $110 for the other strap, sign me up!!!

@bdev and @Tag_ZA found aftermarket straps that look similar to the OEM Gulf F1. You can see their watches & straps in these posts:

FYI. Some people don't like the OEM Gulf F1 strap, as they feel its not comfortable. Also, the asphalt treatment of the leather material tends to show wear over time. Hence I've chosen to preserve my OEM strap and wear the watch with other straps.

I also wear mine sometimes with the C11 Monaco's Gulf calf strap, which I purchased for about $110 from an AD. So I'm surprised that the F1 strap costs so much.

Dont remember exact number but the textile strap for the Red Bull F1 costs around 400. Like I said, prices for some straps are just plain insane
