I see a big fingerprint. But the watch still looks great 😀

LOL looking back at it I just noticed. On IG it doesn't expand the photo like it does on the forum... ah well. Next time 😁

Definately a watch that's on my to get list!
I can guarantee that you will feel a completion and pure satisfaction in your soul. Happiness in your heart. No other watch will ever be as good once you have the mighty Ice King in your collection.

Lovely dial. There’s an LE 2000 with a similar dial I like a lot.

One crucial difference, those 2000s are actually two different colours, whereas this is the same all over, it just looks like that when the light hits it right.

Thanks Hubert, and by the way I haven't forgotten about your interview.
No rush; going through pretty busy weeks, so take all the time you need.

Fine words! Will have to seek one out soon - the more I see it the more 'want' rises.

First though, I need to get this Monaco madness cured. They've been accumulating at the rate of one a month. This is No4.

This is my latest arrival...I'm hugely impressed and pleased. Arrived as a full set and is probably one a few Cal 11 Monaco's I'll wear.
Why? Well at the risk of raising the ire of some here (not my intention!) My eyes bleed when I see those horizontal indices - sorry! I've got past the winder being on the wrong side, albeit that I've strapped the watch to my wrist the wrong way several times.

For me, this watch is just about perfect - hour markers radially placed (the right way!) The Heuer branding on the dial and clasp. The perforated strap is lovely and completes the look.
While B&P are always nice, the polished wood box with the Vintage Collection script inside is the cherry on the top of a perfect package.

All I need now is for Mrs JiaB to announce that I've bought another 'clown' watch <sigh> 😀

I need a Gulf colours watch now, most likely the Cal 12 version and I've spotted a CW2118 which is giving me itchy fingers!
Neither my wallet or wife is going to look kindly at my pursuit <sniff>

Well I never, I never noticed that this one has the Heuer logo but the TAG Heuer indices.... now if they could make a Monaco with the TAG Heuer logo and the Heuer indices I would be happy...

TAG Heuer's logic is simple, if the crown is on the left (i.e. Cal 11), the Monaco wears the Heuer logo. The CAW211C silver dial, French Edition, and Hourglass Edition are other examples of Heuer branded Monacos that have the radial style indices.

Also FYI, what you call the "TAG Heuer indices" are in fact Heuer design traits as well. Originally seen on the Monaco 1533.

Lovely new strap!
Makes the watch look good as new. 👍
Where do you get your F1 replacement straps from? I've thought about getting one for mine. But the prices seem to be around $80-$100, not willing to spend that much on a plastic strap.

Been wearing this pretty much solidly for the past couple of weeks (apart from a brief fling with the Ice King this morning).

So you spend all your time with that one and the ice king only gets a quicky in the morning huh
