Mine hasn't shipped yet.... how are you enjoying it
The watch is outstanding, wears so well. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more stunning blue dial. I am a bit disappointed about the strap. Not the quality and patina that was promised. Wrote them an email about that. Hope your ships soon 👍

On a short break from my Tag Heuers this week. I'm an odd ball in that I like to wear my sub with a rally strap, I guess that's just the "Heuer" in me. LOL.

haha cheers Mspeedster.
This is an amazing watch. It’s almost impossible to capture what the watch is ,how it looks and it’s strengths in a photo.
In the few photos I have taken, it doesn’t do the watch justice. will keep trying and lost some more.
right now it’s back to work.

Looks great.... will look even better (I'm my opimion) when the patina starts to show!

Mine is coming with 3 straps as part of the Kickstarter deal... the brown one, a tropic and a nato. Also changing tools and a dive bag.

Coincidentally yema got in touch today and said it would ship soon, and they are sending me a little gift to compensate for delays.

Overall I have been impressed with their customer service and communication compared to TH I have to say.

Well @Hubert- the watch is a real enigma.
I was worried about the subdials after seeing promotional photos and Davids write up on the subdials.
In actual fact, in the metal it is quite a different look.
In contrast to Davids thoughts on Tag missing an opportunity not going with darker subdials , I would have to commend them in not just trying to produce another full on Phantom, but making a brave call in including subdials that when they catch the light can stand out and be reflective but in general are smokey and subdued.
In taking a few photos, it became clear to me that the watch literally cannot be photographed as it looks in the metal.
In the metal it is very dark and "unclear".
The gold plated indices are also almost invisible to the eye, but in photos standout.
....Think of entering a room full of dark smoke and just being able to make out what is on the other side.
But shine a torch into that smokey room and you can see the writing on the wall and make out two windows in the distance.
It almost feels sometimes that TAG has used a smoked crystal glass to help create this stealth look.

So @Hubert, to answer your question, no, the subdials are not too reflective.
I commented to the absolutely fantastic Manager of the boutique who looked after me so well yesterday with great service and plenty of gifts that if I saw this in the cabinet as a general release watch, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I hope at sometime that I have the chance to view watch 1,3,and 4 as this has just demonstrated to me that in the metal, a watch can be a very different piece.

Best description I have seen for this watch, maybe consider writing watch reviews? 😉

Yeah I saw their kickstarter campaign but didn't go for it. Then later changed my mind when I saw a vintage Superman and Yachtingraf in the metal. I got the 3 straps as well but not the tool bag unfortunately. for some reason I do have a low number though. I really like the bronze hardware on the nato and tropic. The watch is really growing on me, can't wait for it to start discolouring.
