Thanks Hubert,
The world is a small place. Second leg over and getting closer. No prizes for guessing where I am.
You're in Watchland ! If you're on a Shinkansen carriage ...I guarantee if you check each man's wrist , averages are ...75% will be wearing Rolex and the remaining 25% will have the remaining Swiss brands . When I was working there , I found it odd that very few Japanese men wore Seiko!!! The Grand Seiko is a brilliant watch ,yet very few wear it ! Japan was also a great place to buy Tag . Many years ago , used watches were considered a no no , so the prices were unbelievably low , but with the introduction of ePay , Amazon etc ... the Japanese found a ready market , so not too many bargains anymore . But if you venture to some of the open markets , there are still bargains to be found . One place in particular in the Osaka area, there was a street vendor with at least 100 assorted high end watches at bargain prices . Zac

Yep Japan Zac, but not here to get a green Monaco Tony.

Finally- on the wrist and worth every minute of the journey. Thanks to the Tag Heuer staff in Ginza who held this watch for me to travel the 8500 to pick it up.
They were kind enough to throw a leather jacket in as a gift. The colour of the watch is an enigma. It has to move to be appreciated as it Picks up the light and changes depending on its angle. Not easy to capture in a photo but I did my best. I鈥檒l try and upload a vid somewhere when I get a chance. Right now, it鈥檚 sushi, sumo and Sake time!!

Thanks all -
A little bit of crazy mixed with considerable amount of determination and a whole lot of love for the brand makes a man do funny things. 馃榾
