Can't really go wrong with a FOIS (or any Speedmaster Pro, IMHO). The CK2998 white & black panda dial is the one that I'd want, along with the Speed Tuesday and Ultraman. But alas, too many nice watches and not enough in my piggy bank. LOL

Absolutely; we are truly living in another golden age for horology. I also considered that panda and Ultraman last year, but other watches won out. This should be an interesting year for sure.

Actually what I am wearing tomorrow TCM orienteering , titanium PVD with solar compass. ( had to wait for the second version that had the Southern Hemisphere )

I can't echo this enough @Gambba, I spent years travelling and not seeing anything other than taxi/hotel/meeting room/bar, at which point everywhere is the same. Now I pretty much always take a day to look around when I travel somewhere new.

Also that omega looks great, which one is it and how old?

Haha. I鈥檝e done things the other way around. I鈥檝e been travelling the globe for work for 17 years now and when I started at 22 I鈥檇 always take the extra day or tag on a weekend. Nowadays I am generally wanting to get in and out of a country as quickly as possible so I can get home, as the next trip is always just round the corner......especially as these days don鈥檛 have so many new countries in my patch to visit. I do need to head to Mauritius for business soon though 馃槑

My Omega is the Aqua Tera model. Midsize 38mm and quartz (model number 2518.80.00). I bought it in August 2005 on a business trip to Dubai.....little did I know 2 years later I鈥檇 move there. So whilst it鈥檚 only a quartz it has much sentiment attached.....and still probably the most durable and versatile watch I own.
