This is mine..it’s no Autavia but it’s all I can afford right now. I really like it but I wish TH would’ve been more forthcoming about what is inside. It would be nice to know what grade of Sellita it has and what my expectations should be..also it has a woeful instruction manual with no information about being careful with the crown thread or setting the date between 9pm and 3am or the issues it has with magnetic fields..anyway it’s keeping +5 seconds a day so far so I’m happy enough

It's probably either Elabore or Top or whatever the Sellita-equiavlent grades are.

Just got this vintage Omega calibre 1012.

I heard 1012 not the best Omega movement. I am here to try it whether it's true or not.

What you guys think of the watch itself ?

Top would be good..Elaboré not so much..top has an Incabloc..Elaboré has a Novodiac and it would be as easy to tell as that if they guaranteed all Aquaracers got the same movement..but I’ve seen Carreras with Incablocs and Novodiacs and Aquaracers with both and even Formula 1s with the top grade Sellitas. So it’s a lucky dip really..

Looks a lot like my UG, although rounder case and different placement of hour markers. A very nice dress watch although quite small. Looks great on my wife's wrist though. Absolute stunner.

Gosh. Similar. Date window placement different though. Thanks for sharing.

Spectacular scenery.

Mombasa, Kenya. Unfortunately I don’t get to appreciate it except for a few minutes in the morning before I head out to do the boring stuff....work.

I can't echo this enough @Gambba, I spent years travelling and not seeing anything other than taxi/hotel/meeting room/bar, at which point everywhere is the same. Now I pretty much always take a day to look around when I travel somewhere new.

Also that omega looks great, which one is it and how old?

Enough with vintage for now. Back to this rugged and probably will not age well piece.
